LEIBISH NATURAL DIAMOND WARRANTY

LEIBISH guarantees that, unless expressly stated otherwise in the relevant product description, the diamonds and jewellery it supplies consist of authentic, natural and untreated coloured diamonds and gemstones of consistently high quality and value.

This warranty is provided by LEIBISH for eligible LEIBISH products purchased through Italian Luxury Group. Italian Luxury Group will assist customers with the initial submission and coordination of warranty claims.

Authenticity and treatment disclosure

Unless explicitly stated otherwise on the product page, LEIBISH represents that the relevant diamonds and gemstones are:

  • authentic;

  • natural rather than laboratory-grown; and

  • untreated or unenhanced.

Any known treatment, enhancement or laboratory-grown origin will be disclosed in the applicable product description or supporting documentation.

Independent laboratory reports

Independent grading or laboratory reports from recognised laboratories, which may include GIA, EGL, AGS, HRD or IGI, may be available for selected diamonds and coloured gemstones.

The availability of a laboratory report depends on the individual stone or item. Where a report is not already included with the product, additional certification, grading or administrative charges may apply.

Customers who require a particular laboratory report should contact Italian Luxury Group before placing the order to confirm its availability, issuing laboratory and any applicable cost.

Manufacturing defects

This warranty covers manufacturing defects affecting eligible fine jewellery, subject to inspection and confirmation by LEIBISH or a LEIBISH-authorised specialist.

It does not cover damage or loss resulting from:

  • excessive or unusual wear;

  • accidental or physical damage;

  • misuse, neglect or improper handling;

  • impact or exposure to unsuitable chemicals;

  • loss or theft;

  • loss or damage to gemstones not caused by a manufacturing defect; or

  • unauthorised repair, resizing, modification or alteration.

Unauthorised servicing

Repairs, resizing, alterations or warranty work performed by a person or business not authorised by LEIBISH may affect or void this voluntary warranty where that work causes or contributes to the defect or prevents LEIBISH from properly assessing the item.

Customers must contact Italian Luxury Group before arranging any third-party repair or returning the jewellery.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LEIBISH and Italian Luxury Group exclude liability under this voluntary warranty for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from a breach of this warranty.

This limitation does not exclude, restrict or modify any right, remedy, guarantee or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Rights under applicable consumer law

This voluntary warranty provides additional benefits and does not replace or limit any statutory consumer rights that apply in the customer’s country of residence.

For purchases covered by the Australian Consumer Law:

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

How to request warranty service

Customers who purchased through Italian Luxury Group should contact Italian Luxury Group before sending any item for inspection or service.

  • the Italian Luxury Group order number or proof of purchase;

  • the customer’s name and contact details;

  • a description of the issue;

  • clear photographs or videos of the item; and

  • copies of any grading reports or certificates supplied with the product.

Italian Luxury Group will provide return and inspection instructions after reviewing the initial information.

Jewellery must not be returned directly to LEIBISH unless Italian Luxury Group or LEIBISH has provided written authorisation and the appropriate return instructions.
